After installing ourselves in a lodge in Lower Pisang, we made an excursion to the original village that is now called Upper Pisang. However, things don't stand still and this is their new mani wall that is still under construction. We also found a huge new temple but it was still only a shell. They must be making good money here from us tourists.

In the distance, to the south and across the other side of the valley, is Annapurna II (7937m).
